The focus of Ephesians 4 is on unity in the body (church) of Christ. In day four, use Ephesians 4:1-3 to pray for unity within your church, the churches in your city/town/village, and within the body of Christ worldwide. Pray for yourself that God will help you to be “completely humble, gentle, patient, and bearing with others in love” (4:2). Repent of any ways that you have not been this way and ask the Spirit to help you “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”
"As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." Ephesians 4:1-3
One element of your prayers today may need to include a time of confession before the Lord. If you're a committed member within a local body, it's likely you've been hurt before and disappointed at times. I think sometimes we forget that this side of heaven, the church is made up of imperfect people and so instead of being shocked when difficult things come up, we are called rather to pray and act as Paul describes above. Paul includes these instructions for a very good reason, one being because he knows this isn't easy and we need to be told by God how we are to act and respond. Confess, repent, and ask the Spirit to strengthen you to extend the love and grace that God extends everyday towards you, dear sister.
