Happy Valentine’s Day, sister!
Did you wake up this morning with a longing in your heart to be loved? With the hope that you are special to someone? That someone is excited to see you today and shower you with their love?
God has blessed us with people in our lives who are able to demonstrate love towards us and make us feel special and cared for. For some of us those people may be many, for others of us they are few and far between. But whether you have many or few, for all of us, there is a deeper longing in our souls to be fully known, fully accepted, and fully loved that only God Himself can satisfy.
Did you know that God is longing to be your Valentine today? He is waiting to pour out His delight in you. He is waiting for you to sit with Him and let Him lavish His rich, satisfying, pure love upon you. A love that will never disappoint, never give up, never turn away, never run dry, and never let go of you. Come and receive His love today, dear sister. Let it wash over you and satisfy your soul. Let it speak to your loneliness, to your disappointments and regrets, to your sorrow, to your waiting, to the cries of your heart that you feel like no one understands. Let His love fill you up with abundance and minister healing and life to your bones. Receive your love letter today; written by the One who longs to be the lover of your soul:
“You have stolen my heart, my sister, my bride; you have stolen my heart with one glance of your eyes, with one jewel of your necklace. How delightful is your love, my sister, my bride! How much more pleasing is your love than wine, and the fragrance of your perfume more than any spice!” Song of Songs 4:9-10
