Continue, as we pray together, in day five to ask God to search your heart to see if there are any ways your life is not glorifying Him. Read Ephesians 4:25 to 5:4 and repent of any sin. Ask the Lord to fill you with His Spirit and empower you to live a holy life.
"Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body." Ephesians 4:25
"Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving..." Ephesians 5:4
Ask the Holy Spirit to convict you of any sin you are unaware of. Maybe some of these sinful actions are responses to wounds in your heart that need healing and restoration. Invite the Lord, your Healer into those hurting places, dear sister. Use this invitation to look at those uncomfortable places so that you might experience the redemptive power of Jesus in every area of your life. Remember that your God is gentle and patient with you, but He desires for you that you would have complete freedom in Christ Jesus. If helpful, re-visit Ephesians 1 and let the words, of your new identity in Christ, feed your soul today.
