"Is He Worthy?"

"Lamb of God"

Yesterday, the Lord used a song to bring me to Revelation 5. The chapter is such an exhilarating prophecy of what the Lord allowed the apostle John to see over 1000 years ago. And as we know, throughout the Scriptures, the prophecies of the Lord will come to pass...

Visit Rev. 5 today and allow yourself to sit back and marvel at all that Jesus has done, and will do when He returns again. Allow the expressions of worship to tug at your heart and lead you into a worshipful offering to the Lord today. Close your eyes and envision yourself in the throne room of God, with the creatures and elders singing, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!...To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” (vs. 9; 12). Allow the prophecy to enrich your prayers for the nations today, praying that worshipers would be raised up from every tribe and language, people and nation.

Bow before the Lamb and surrender everything to the only One who is worthy to open the scrolls of the Book of Life.

Perhaps you might need to confess those things that the Holy Spirit will bring to mind that hinder your worship of the Lord. Bring the fears and doubts, the disappointments and frustrations, the prayers that seem to be unanswered or forgotten by God. Bring the conflicts that you might be experiencing in a relationship today or those perplexed and confused feelings about why things are the way they are right now. Bring your own insecurities, self-hatred, and any disdain for yourself before the Lamb. Bring any anger or resentment, unforgiveness or dissension. Bring them today to the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, who takes away your sins, who transforms your heart beyond what you could have imagined.

Sister, Jesus is w o r t h y of your worship and praise no matter what you’re facing today.

The Holy Spirit can and is willing to cultivate a heart of worship in you that is strong and passionate even in the deepest, darkest, pain-stacking seasons of your life. Come before the Lamb today and take your rightful place as His worshiper- this is where you belong, dear sister!
